WHISPERING WINDS s.r.o. is an independent tea company based in 602 00 Brno, Czechia. We specialise in carefully sourced, honestly described loose-leaf teas, selected in small batches and sold both from our shop in Veveří and online at https://gohivekr.com/.
We are not a chain, a franchise, or a faceless webshop. WHISPERING WINDS is a small, owner-run Czech business — the people who select the teas are the same people who pack your order and answer your emails.
What We Do
Our work is simple to describe and demanding to do well: we find exceptional teas, verify where and how they were grown, and bring them to you as fresh as possible.
In practice, that means:
- Sourcing — tasting and evaluating far more teas than we ever sell, and working with growers and importers we know and trust.
- Curation — keeping a focused collection instead of an overwhelming one. Every tea on our shelves earned its place.
- Education — helping our customers brew better tea through honest advice, clear descriptions, and no-nonsense recommendations.
- Service — treating every order, question, and complaint the way a small shop should: personally, quickly, and fairly.
How We Work
Small batches, high turnover. We deliberately buy in modest quantities so our stock stays fresh. Tea sitting in a warehouse for a year is not tea we want to sell.
Full transparency. Origin, harvest information, and honest tasting notes come with every tea. When we don’t know something, we say so rather than invent it.
Direct relationships. Wherever possible, we shorten the chain between the garden and your cup. Fewer middlemen means fresher tea, fairer terms for producers, and better prices for you.
Careful handling. From temperature-appropriate storage to protective packaging, we treat tea like the delicate agricultural product it is — because how tea is kept matters almost as much as how it was grown.
